On Friday 8th May, Aylesbury United FC held their end of season awards ceremony at The Railway Club. In a showpiece event which was headlined by special guest Tony Cottee, we were treated to a fish and chip supper from The Codfather, goals of the season and a tribute to Jack Wood who became Aylesbury United’s record appearance holder. The journey from Buckingham Road to Chesham (via many other grounds) may have ended for me as Chairman, but I am left with very fond memories, trials, tribulations and heartaches.
