As we reach the mid-point of the close season, the new board have been busy preparing the club ready for the new season.
129th Anniversary Celebration
Join us at The Bell Hotel on 30th May 2026 from 3pm, and raise a glass to 129 years of football, friendship, and community as we celebrate the proud history of Aylesbury United FC, and a new beginning for the club under community ownership.
Squad Update
We are delighted to welcome back Paul Batchelor as manager for next season who will be assisted by Danny Gray, Darren Jones, Matt Kelloway, Will Harvey and our new club physio Nikini Jayakody.
We can also confirm that Jack Wood, Jake Bewley, Sonny French and Jack Hopwood have agreed to stay for the upcoming season.
Summer Events
Aylesbury United Juniors festival of football takes place over the weekend of 13th and 14th June. If you can volunteer, please contact chairman@aujfc.co.uk otherwise feel free to support the next generation at Fairford Leys Football Pitches.
On Saturday 27th June 2026 from 10am – 12pm, the Pan Disability team have their family fun day at Ashmead School Field, all supporters are welcome to attend the event.
Pre-Season Friendlies
The club has released our schedule of pre-season friendly matches however this is subject to change at short notice. For me, the standout fixture is the trip to Chichester City and a potential weekend away by the sea. I will be discussing travel and accommodation options with 21CD over the next week.
On some days you will have noticed we have two games; this is to enable the management team to assess trialists. Depending on where matches are played, some may not be suitable for supporters to attend – we will provide further information as it becomes available.
Season Tickets
The club has announced the launch of its 2026/27 season tickets. With gate prices frozen for another year and under 16s able to attend for FREE, the Ducks are sending a clear message: football should be accessible to everyone.
The 2026/2027 campaign will mark the first since Aylesbury United became a majority community owned club. The club’s leadership has been vocal about its commitment to affordability, transparency, and building a football club that genuinely reflects the town it represents.
