On Saturday 18th April 2026 at 3:00pm, Aylesbury United FC travel to Hadley FC in the Pitching In Southern League Division One Central.

Last Saturday The Ducks ground out an excellent 3:1 win at home to Stotfold. On another blustery April afternoon, the conditions made playing attractive football difficult and the first half passed with little or no action. The second half started more positively and soon goals from George and Fin opened up a 2:0 lead. Stotfold then pressed hard and got their reward and could easily have found themselves level before The Ducks got a penalty tucked away by Jake.

Hadley came from behind to get a late win over Barton Rovers who had beaten The Ducks the week before. They sit in 10th place on 60 points and will achieve a comfortable mid-table finish.

The reverse fixture in November was a 1:1 draw following a 92nd minute equaliser through an own goal by Stotfold. Three wins from the last four has seen The Ducks move above Stotfold and London Lions. The lads will be looking to continue the good form and finish the season strongly.

Parking is available at the ground, possibly with further parking available in the local residential streets. Please be mindful of our neighbours when arriving and leaving.

For those travelling by car, Barnet is now a 'Gateway to Greater London', so it is inside the ULEZ; vehicles that fail to meet the ULEZ emissions standards will incur the £12.50 daily charge. However, there are some exemptions along the Barnet border, which allow traffic to flow freely, and without charge; one of these charge-free corridors can be used to visit Hadley FC. If you drive southbound down the A1(M) to the Stirling Roundabout and turn left along the A411 (Barnet Rd), then left into Brickfield Lane (home of Hadley FC), then your journey will be ULEZ exempt. If you leave via the same route, you are again ULEZ exempt. However, if you leave the A1(M) one junction earlier and arrive at the ground via Rowley Lane, then you will pass a ULEZ camera on Rowley Lane. If you travel any further south towards London, or into High Barnet, you will pass ULEZ cameras. If you do need to pay the ULEZ charge, ensure you do it by midnight on the third day following the journey.
