Marlow FC

Back at The Meadow on Sunday kick off 3pm as we take on Marlow FC in the Southern League Division One Central.
Few non-league clubs can boast a history quite like Marlow FC. Founded in 1870, the Blues were among the original entrants in the very first FA Cup and reached the competition's semi-finals in 1881–82, giving the Buckinghamshire club a remarkable connection to the earliest days of English football.
The Ducks come into today’s game on the back of a 3-2 defeat at home to Waltham Abbey on Wednesday evening dropping us to 18th place in the table. A really poor first half allowed Waltham Abbey to race into a 3 goal lead with The Ducks failing to meet the levels required to be competitive. An improved second half saw us grab a couple of goals but were not really in the game at any stage. A vastly improved performance is required across the 90 minutes.
Our visitors had a superb 3-0 home win against Hadley which extended their recent run of excellent form. They currently sit third in the table with 15 points from 6 matches.
