Following our exit from the FA Cup, the Ducks have a short break before returning to action against Sittingbourne in the FA Trophy on Friday 28th August with kick off at 7:45pm.
This match marks the 700th appearance for our captain and club legend, Jack Wood. An incredible achievement that reflects years of loyalty, leadership, and passion for Aylesbury United. Congratulations, Jack — another massive milestone passed.

Our last meeting was in 1996 in this very same competition. The match at Buckingham Road ended in a 1-1 draw whilst the replay at Sittingbourne’s Central Park was won 2-1 by today’s visitors. Gary Phillips was in charge at the time and Alan Walker for our visitors.
Sittingbourne have started the season with a 2:1 win away to AFC Croydon Athletic and rescued a late point with a 97th minute leveller at home to Cray Valley PM, at the time of writing, they sit top of the Isthmian League South East Division.
Aylesbury United lost 3:2 at home to Flackwell Heath in the FA Cup and then narrowly 2-1 away to Potters Bar Town in the first league fixture of the season.
