Slough Town FC

Back to cup action in the Berks and Bucks FA Senior County Cup away to Slough Town on Tuesday evening kick off 7:45pm.

Slough Town FC, nicknamed The Rebels, have enjoyed a period of stability and progress after returning to their home town. The club moved into Arbour Park in 2016, ending many years without a permanent home in Slough.

On the pitch, a major milestone arrived in 2017/18, when Slough won promotion from the Southern League through the play-offs, earning a place at the sixth tier of English football, now the National League South.

The Rebels have since established themselves at that level. During 2024/25, player-manager Scott Davies guided the side away from relegation trouble, with a crucial 3-0 victory over Aveley in April leaving them ten points above the relegation places with four matches remaining.

Slough subsequently finished 16th in the 2025/26 National League South and remain members of the division for 2026/27, continuing their established position at Step 2 of the National League System.

Two early errors by the Ducks against Marlow on Sunday meant another fightback was required and despite being the better side in the second half, a lack of composure at key moments in front of goal resulted in another frustrating 3:2 defeat.

Following a disappointing run of 1 win in their first 10 matches, Slough Town drew 1-1 with Ebbsfleet last time out.
