Join us for a special afternoon as we pay tribute to Jack “Woody” Wood, our club’s record appearance holder and long‑standing defensive rock.

Woody has turned down multiple offers from bigger clubs over the years, choosing instead to give everything to the Ducks. Now it’s our turn to give something back.

A Match to Remember

The match will see the current squad play against a team of players who have shared the pitch with Woody throughout his career, including many fans favourites, managed by the man who bought him to the club, Tony Joyce. 

Kick‑off is at 2:00pm - earlier than usual, so arrive in good time.

On the Day

• Limited‑edition commemorative programme

• Woody‑themed merchandise - available at the Presentation Evening (Fri 8th May) and again at the match

• All proceeds will go into Woody’s tribute fund.

Parking is available at the ground, with further parking available in the local residential streets. Please be mindful of our neighbours when arriving and leaving. If additional space is needed there is alternate free parking on the gravel hardstanding area on The Moor (NB height restricted entry, cars only) and payable parking in the town car parks. These are all within about 5-10 minutes normal walking distance of the ground. A parking marshall will help direct traffic once the main carpark is full.
