They don’t come much more important than this, on Saturday 14th March 2026 at 3:00pm, Aylesbury United FC face nearest rivals Enfield FC in the Pitching In Southern League Division One Central.
Following the disappointing (3:2) loss away to Welwyn Garden City, Aylesbury United will be looking for an improved defensive performance to build from and get the 3 points necessary to put some distance between the two clubs. In what is likely to be a hotly contested match, both sides will need to keep their composure to achieve the result both desperately need.
Enfield are on 27 points, sitting one place below The Ducks in the final relegation spot. Since beating Ware and Stotfold away in January, they endured a heavy defeat at home to Hadley and then an impressive victory over Thame which included 3 penalties.
The Ducks remain 5 points above Enfield but now trail Leverstock Green by 4 points and Northwood have not been able to capitalise on their games in hand yet. The reverse fixture in September resulted in a (0-3) win for The Ducks with goals from Powfil Raposo, Jake Bewley and Remel Larwood.
